Americans first celebrated National AD/HD Awareness Day
in 2004 following ADDA’s successful efforts to spearhead
passage of a US Senate Resolution that recognized
AD/HD as a major public health concern.

On Friday, July 28th, 2005, the United States Senate
passed a resolution declaring September 20th, 2006 as
National Attention Deficit Disorder Awareness Day!
